Shining Moments

No life has everything. But no matter how you look at it there are so many blessings it would be wrong to focus on what has been withheld. I, for one, am so tremendously grateful for the privilege of being Mom to my two daughters that my heart sings and sings.

Motherhood has meant an adventure of experiences. Whatever my girls get into, I am there to cheerlead and coach them on to success.

Lately I am swimming laps. Smile.

Noelle is getting certified as a life guard so that means training and developing skills.

I love going with her and sometimes swimming side by side.

My heart reflects back on some of the other adventures we’ve had.

Horseback riding,

Musicals,

Tennis,

Races,

Camping,

Etc.

I push up my sleeves and jump right in there, whatever the need.

Constantly encouraging and lending a hand if needed.

Now it’s college and what a whirlwind of experiences that brings.

In the future it will change

But I will be there to support and cheer.

Always and always.

We all need to be cheered from time to time, don’t we?

It’s easy to grow weary and begin to doubt

               and question

                 and worry.

But those verses shine with hope and energy

“”Let us not lose heart in doing good for in due time we will reap if we do not become weary.” Galatians 6:9

Jesus comes beside us breathing fresh strength into those tired legs

And He whispers so lovingly “You can do it. Just a little while longer.”

May the light of His smile warm you today.

He knows your every need.

Your time of reaping

      is

         coming.

Believe it!
