Music In Your Soul

Apr 17, 2012

There is a vast difference between happiness and blessedness.

True blessedness comes to life in the midst of sometimes very trying situations.

The following true story illustrates this principle.

Paganini, the great violinist, walked out before his audience and as they finished their applause suddenly made the discovery that there was something wrong with his violin.

He gave it another look and noticed that it wasn’t his famous and valuable violin.

For a second he was paralyzed

But then, turning to his audience, he explained that there had been some mistake.

He did not have his violin.

Stepping back behind the curtain where he thought it might be, he discovered that someone had stolen his

and left this old second-hand one.

He pondered the situation for a minute and then walked out before his audience.

“Ladies and gentlemen,” he said. “I will now show you that the music

is not in the instrument

but in the soul.”

He then began to play.

Within seconds glorious music filled the auditorium.

Yes, out of that second-hand instrument, music poured forth.

The crowd was enraptured and overcome with enthusiasm.

The applause nearly lifted the very ceiling that day because the man showed them

A very important truth.

The music was not in the instrument but in his own soul.

It is our mission to walk out on the stage of life and to reveal to all the world

That no matter what the conditions.

No matter how difficult the situation

In spite of hardships and grim circumstances

The music of life is in your soul!!!
