3 Steps To Growth

Nov 4, 2011

Today I had the privilege of attending my first Leadshare group. It is a part of our local Chamber of Commerce. I was impressed with the variety of business leaders that were there. After a brief opening each person shared what they do and what leads they are looking for to grow their business. I was fascinated realizing the wealth of information and resources sitting in just one room.

I wondered how I could possibly condense my passion and desire to coach folks into a greater sense of peace, passion and purpose to the allotted sixty seconds. So as I sat I attempted to get my thoughts together for my brief pitch. I being a newcomer was the last to share.

I stood, smiled and began.

“I am Sharon Brani, a licensed professional Counselor and certified Life Coach at Heartprints Counseling, Coaching and Consulting. In this day of high stress, busyness and increased anxiety, I coach people in ways to develop a greater sense of peace, passion and purpose in their lives. I teach skills and strategies that they can implement that will give them results. That is what coaching is all about. Results.”

Yes, I shared a little more and as I did I relaxed knowing that this is exactly what I want to do. To get the word out. Attending the meeting and sharing my passion is a growth step for me.

Over the phone or in person I love working with people and helping them create the life they really want to live.

Are you longing to grow in your life?  Follow these three steps and you’ll be on your way.

  1. Decide how you’d like your life to look. Write it down. Pray over it.
  2. Get a coach. A few simple assessments can have you on the way to creating the life of peace, passion and purpose you have always wanted.
  3. Step out of your comfort zone. Try something different. Take the risk of feeling uncomfortable.  Just do it. If it doesn’t work, you don’t have to do it again. If you like it, you might well be on your way to the living life the way it was meant to be.
